Episode 1: Elevating DC – An Interview With Sheena Saydam

Welcome to Up With Moms!

I am so excited to introduce you to my first guest, Sheena Saydam.

Sheena is a mother of two – with a third on the way – and she’s also one of  DC’s most successful real estate agents.

Washingtonian Magazine named her one of the DC Metropolitan Area’s “99 Agents You Want on Your Side” and she’s one of the top Keller Williams sellers in the region.  Not only is she at the top of her career game, but she’s also leading the charge when it comes to giving back to her community.

Sheena’s company, Saydam Properties Group, incorporates charity and acts of kindness into everything they do. Her giving spirit is contagious and led her to create Elevate DC, a group dedicated to bringing women together to “be the change” they want to see in the world.

Listen as we discuss how she fuses building her business with paying it forward, how she’s raising her children to be generous, and how she juggles it all.

Here are links to all of the non-profits we discussed.

I’m also looking for inspiring guests for upcoming podcasts. If you know a mom who is balancing the craziness of raising kids while finding ways to take on a cause, volunteer, or otherwise make a difference in her community, please send her my way.

I would love your feedback too! You can comment on this blog post, on social media, or email me – upwithmoms@gmail.com.

Thank you so much for reading and listening. More – including a nice pretty website – coming soon!
